Brief History

The Scout Association is a voluntary movement, aimed at helping young persons develop their personal skills, thus enabling them to become good citizens.  With this aim in mind, a new Scout Group was formed in Pembroke. 

The official opening of this Group took place on the 26th November 1995, having as its founder and Group Scout Leader, Mrs Josephine Micallef.  Two other leaders who helped in the forming of the Group were Miss Jackie Warrington and Mr Brian Ferando.  All three leaders are still active in the Group today. 

Presently the Group also has three other leaders, Miss Louisa Dimech (Akela), Mr Brian Attard (Bagheera), Mr Richard Caruana (Spark).
